The company is now located on a tranquil Victorian farm near Cayuga Lake and is producing classic artworks which are famous all around the world. The company was acquired by Pleasant Rowland, founder of American Girl in 2005. The new owner revamped the company and laid the basis of what the company looks like now. The company was later sold to Lee Feldman and Howard Cohen, part owners of Twin Lakes Capital in 2008. 

Shipping policy at MacKenzie Childs

The delivery charges are based on the dollar volume of the order. Standard shipping fee for subtotaling up to $75 is $7.50 and for orders of $75.01 or more, the standard delivery fee is 10% of the subtotal. Overnight and 2-day delivery options are also available for an additional shipping charges.

Returns policy at MacKenzie Childs

The customers can return items by mail by following the instructions on the packing slip enclosed with the order. For in store returns, the non-furniture items could be returned with 30 days of receipt of items along with the proof of purchase. The items must be unused, unwashed and in the original packing. For the returns of furniture items, restocking fees of 25% will be deducted from the refund amount and the refunds are made in the form of original payment. Return shipping charges are the responsibility of the customers unless the items were damaged or defective.
